Sony Xperia XZ2 with bezel-less display spotted online, tipped to come with Snapdragon 845, 15MP camera

first_imgSony is working on Xperia XZ1 successor dubbed Xperia XZ2. Reports suggest that the phone could come by September 2018 . Rumours also  hint that the Xperia XZ2 could sport a bezel-less design and be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 845 chipset with 4GB RAM.A recent leak suggests that the phone could feature a 12MP rear camera. The Sony Xperia XZ2 or Z2 will be a successor to company’s Xperia XZ1 smartphone which was launched this year in September. The leaked images also hint of a bezel-less slim design of the XZ2 similar to many of the phones launched this year like the Mi Mix 2 or Andy Rubin’s Essential phone.The Xperia XZ2 will come with model number H8216 and is expected to come with 90 per cent screen-to-body ratio. The phone is rumoured to come with a 5.48-inch full HD display and a metal unibody design. A leak hints at 12MP  selfie camera and 15MP rear camera in the upcoming Xperia XZ2. The leaked renders suggest that phone could pack in 64GB of internal storage and run on Android 8.1 Oreo. The phone in question is seen with near no bezels at the bottom and a narrow top bezel which houses a camera, sensor and a speaker grille. The phone is expected to cost around $900(Rs 57,000 approx). Rumours have it that there could be one more Xperia phone launched along with the XZ2. We are expecting it to be the Xperia XZ Premium 2.advertisementJust to recall, the XZ2 will succeed the XZ1 smartphone which was launched at Rs 44,990 in India this year. The phone sports a 5.2-inch 1080p IPS display,  powered by a Snapdragon 835 processor with 4GB RAM and  64GB storage which is expandable. Sony did not introduce a bezel-less design in this phone so it wouldn’t be wrong to expect it in its successor.last_img
