Council issues high risk fire warning with arrival of dry weather

first_imgDonegal County Council has warned people to be aware of high fire risks with the arrival of a forecasted prolonged period of dry weather.The Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine has issued a notice of high fire risk (Condition Orange) effective from midday today for all areas where hazardous fuels such as gorse, heather, dried grasses and other dead vegetation exist.This warning is expected to last until at least midday on the 17th May 2019.
